New Zealand is filling my heart

Every day brings unimaginable beauty and great people to me. Drives that should take 3 hours take 5 or 6 because I keep stopping to take pictures or go to store or grab another great cappuccino. A greeting of hello turns into a 20 minutes conversation. Those 5 hour drives feel like 30 minutes of driving, because there is no traffic. I go hours as the only car some times. The roads are hilly and curvy and you go over hundreds of one lane bridges where you cede to the other direction, or they do to you. I have a great Outlander, but I really want a BMW M3 to drive here. Did I mention the amazing beauty you ride in for the entire time???
My morning drive:

The Quilt Store I stopped in to honor my friend Peggy:
Yesterdays beach buy my hotel and sunset.
Last night I stayed at a hideaway cabin in the rain forest called…. The Hideaway. Pictures to follow.
Tonight I get to experience a 5 course meal at my luxury hotel and then go on a nighttime hike to watch the glowworms that light up the trees.
Did I mention I’m taking a helicopter tomorrow to view Mt. Cook and 2 other glaciers????
Just adding some additional pictures for your pleasure.
