My journey to Spain was one filled with rain, some disappointment, and of course, the charm of Spain. My journey to Spain was to visit friends and play tennis and enjoy some of the magic of Spain. Well, due to some unforeseen circumstances and a lot of rain, I Di not get to see 3 of the 4 friends I was hoping to see. My trip up to Valencia Was rained out and my chance to see Ernesto and Reinhard along with the visit. Also, I Di not get a chance to see Gilbert in Mallorca. It was great to see Manu, but even that visit was shortened due to pouring rain in Mallorca.
What I did get was an opportunity to rest up a bit. It’s been a non-stop 3 months of travel at this point and my brain and body are tired.
I was able to push my body back into tennis shape while playing at the Vilas Tennis Academy in Mallorca, the definite highlight of this portion of the trip.

I start my journey to South Sfrica in a few moments. I am very excited to witness the beauty of animals in the wild. I am also very excited to experience South Africa, as this has been a country I have wanted to visit for quite some time.
One factor I keep trying to put out of my head is my impending return to the working world. Let’s hope I can keep that in the back of my mind and just keep enjoying the journey in front of me over the next 3 weeks.
I have also noticed that I am missing my friends and family more each day. I have been struggling with several personal relationships over the past few weeks and I have found that to be more isolating while I travel.
I am also not excited to return to the shit show known as the United States.
